Data on all components of the DCS released to the public during the reference period, i.e., one month after the reference month, are treated as preliminary. Data may be revised two months after the reference month to reflect updates on reports submitted by all universal/commercial and thrift banks, and six months after the reference month to cover updates on reports of rural banks, NBQBs and NSSLAs. Data may be revised for the two previous years to reflect updates on the Central Bank Survey, generally within nine (9) months from end of the latest available full year. Data for longer periods may be revised due to significant changes, e.g., introduction of new concepts, classifications, and methodologies in compilation frameworks.​​​​
