REMARKS
The 2021 Full Year Official Poverty Statistics presents the official poverty statistics for 2021 released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) based on the preliminary results of the 2021 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) conducted by the PSA. Poverty estimates at the national, regional, provincial, and highly urbanized city levels were generated based on the methodology for the estimation of official poverty statistics using income from the FIES. This methodology was approved in 2011 through PSA Board Resolution No. 1, Series of 2017 – 171 (NSCB Resolution No. 09, Series of 2011).

Region II (Cagayan Valley) - Based on t-test at 10% level of significance, the observed change from 2015 to 2018 is significant; Based on t-test at 10% level of significance, the observed change from 2018 to 2021 is significant.
Region III (Central Luzon) - Based on t-test at 10% level of significance, the observed change from 2015 to 2018 is significant; Based on t-test at 10% level of significance, the observed change from 2018 to 2021 is significant.
